Why generic outreach fails

"Hi {FirstName}, I help
companies like yours…"
Nobody reads past line two.

Every salesperson sending generic LinkedIn messages is competing on the same opener. The prospect reads three words, recognises the template, and archives it. The message that gets a reply is the one that shows you actually did your homework.

"I saw you're running Salesforce and Marketo — we integrate with both and eliminate the manual sync your team is probably doing right now." That's not a template. That's context. And ConnectionQ gives it to you in one click.

Without tech context
"Hi Sarah, I help VP Sales leaders like yourself grow revenue faster using our AI-powered platform. We've worked with 500+ companies and would love to chat. Are you free for a 15-minute call?"
Archived. She gets 40 of these a week.
With ConnectionQ Tech Finder
"Hi Sarah, noticed Acme Corp is running Salesforce and Marketo — we built a native integration that eliminates the CSV sync between them your team probably runs manually every week. Worth 10 minutes to show you how it looks in your setup?"
She replies. Because it's relevant and specific.

Full stack visibility

Not just the homepage tools.
The whole stack.

ConnectionQ detects technologies across every layer of a company's operations — from the CRM they run their sales team on to the infrastructure their engineers deploy on. Hundreds of tools across every category.

Three ways to use it

Same data. Three completely
different sales strategies.

Knowing a company's tech stack doesn't just make your message more personal. It changes who you target, what you say, and when you say it.

1 Competitor displacement

Find everyone paying
your competitor right now.

The easiest sale is to someone already paying for a solution in your category — they've acknowledged the problem and allocated budget. Filter for companies running any specific tool and build a list of every prospect using your direct competitor, then run a targeted "Switch and Save" campaign against it.

Your message leads with what's broken in their current setup — because you already know exactly what they're running. No guessing, no generic angles.

2 Integration and ecosystem selling

Built for Shopify? Find every
Shopify store on LinkedIn.

If your product integrates with or builds on top of a platform, your best prospects are already committed to that platform. Filter for every company running Shopify, Salesforce, Slack, or any ecosystem you build for — then send a message that references their platform specifically.

Message example — ecosystem pitch:
"Hi Tom, noticed Acme Corp is on Shopify — we built a native integration that pulls your order data into HubSpot automatically, which I can also see you're running. Takes about 20 minutes to set up. Want me to show you?"

3 Tech-qualified segmentation

Score and segment your leads
by what they already buy.

Not all prospects are equal. A company running AWS, Segment, and Mixpanel signals a certain budget and technical maturity. A company running Google Sheets and Mailchimp signals something different. Tech Finder lets you build lead lists pre-segmented by that signal — route enterprise stacks into one campaign, SMB stacks into another.

Woven into your workflow

Tech intelligence exactly
when and where you need it.

Tech Finder isn't a separate research tool you switch to. The stack data is right there — on company profiles, in search results, and inside your lead lists — wherever you're already working.

01

On company profiles

Open any company's LinkedIn profile inside ConnectionQ and the Tech Finder panel surfaces their full stack automatically — categorised, labelled, and ready to use. No clicking, no searching.

02

As a search filter

Filter your LinkedIn or Sales Navigator results by specific technologies. Search for 'VP Engineering at companies running AWS' — and get exactly that list. No manual sifting.

03

On every saved lead

Every lead in your ConnectionQ lists shows their company's detected tech stack. Sort, filter, or segment your existing leads by the tools they use — no re-importing required.

Why not just use BuiltWith?

Tech intelligence inside
your outreach workflow.
Not in a separate tab.

BuiltWith tells you what tech a company uses. It doesn't tell you who works there, let you prospect them on LinkedIn, find their email, or send them a sequence — all from the same place. ConnectionQ does all of that.

Built for sellers who need context

If what you sell touches
technology, this changes everything.

SaaS Sales Teams

Filter for companies running the exact tools your product integrates with or displaces. Close faster with pitches built around their actual stack.

Dev Tool and API Companies

Find every company running your target language, framework, or cloud provider. Your outreach message references their exact stack — the most relevant opener a developer will ever read.

Marketing and RevOps Agencies

Identify companies in the wrong marketing stack for their stage. If they're on Mailchimp with 200 employees, they need what you offer. Tech Finder helps you find them before they realise it themselves.

Infrastructure and DevOps Vendors

Target companies actively scaling their infrastructure. AWS + Kubernetes + Datadog signals a team ready to hear about your monitoring, security, or deployment solution.

E-commerce Solution Providers

Filter Shopify, WooCommerce, or BigCommerce users specifically. Your pitch isn't generic — it's 'we see you're on Shopify and here's exactly how we plug in.'

Sales Consultants and Agencies

Build prospect lists for clients sorted by tech maturity and stack. Deliver better targeting intelligence than any agency not using technographic data — which is most of them.

Tech Finder FAQ

Questions we get asked most

Tech Finder analyses publicly available signals from a company's web presence — the scripts, pixels, APIs, and technology signatures they expose on their website and digital properties. These signals are continuously updated so the data reflects the company's current stack, not a snapshot from months ago. It's the same technology principle as BuiltWith, but built directly into your LinkedIn outreach workflow.
Accuracy varies by technology type. Client-side tools like analytics scripts, chat widgets, and marketing pixels that load in a browser are detected with very high confidence. Server-side and infrastructure tools are inferred from job postings, API signatures, and other signals, which carries somewhat lower certainty. We surface a confidence indicator alongside each tool so you know how reliable the signal is.
Yes. When browsing people or company search results inside ConnectionQ — whether basic LinkedIn search or Sales Navigator — you can apply a tech stack filter. For example: 'VP Sales at companies using Salesforce in the US with 51–200 employees.' The results show only companies matching that technology criterion.
For LinkedIn-focused outbound workflows, yes — and it goes further. BuiltWith gives you a database of tech data and a web interface. ConnectionQ gives you the same intelligence woven directly into LinkedIn prospecting, sequencing, and outreach — no exports, no switching tools. If you rely on Clearbit as a data enrichment API for your CRM, you may run those alongside each other, but for active outbound prospecting ConnectionQ handles the full workflow.
Tech Finder surfaces data at the company level — meaning it appears on a company's profile and is attached to any lead whose current company matches. When you view an individual person's profile inside ConnectionQ, you'll see their company's tech stack alongside their personal details. The intelligence is company-level, but it surfaces wherever the person appears in the platform.
Tech Finder is included in every ConnectionQ paid plan — Basic, Pro, and Growth. There are no additional credits required to view tech stack data on company profiles, and filtering search results by technology is also included. There is no separate tech data add-on or subscription.
